Joey has been in the studio the last two months wrapping up his new single, titled “Drinkin’ Here.” It was released July 31st 2016 and has already had positive reviews from his many fans and folks around the music scene. He plans to market this new single to his full capabilities and is excited to perform in front of the hundreds of thousands of Festival attendees late this summer and early fall. Joey James has formed a dynamic group of musicians who play for his band- Joey James Band. Joey now a resident of Dallas, Texas has found an amazing wealth of talent at the University of North Texas (UNT), one of the most prestigious music and arts school in the whole nation. He feels so blessed to share his lyrics with many of his fans and friends alike, with lyrics like “on a blue jean, beer budget, she wants satin and champagne, I work hard for a living, seems I lose more then I gain”, I’m a redneck with blue tears, just finished all my tasty beers, last can of Hamms, Damn what am I going to do now.” He caters to all of those hard working Americans out there just trying to make an honest living.
With a resume that boasts opening for acts like Diamond Rio, Lee Brice, Montgomery Gentry, and others- to singing our national anthem in front of thousands of Rodeo Fanatics and Baseball fans, to singing in thousands of clubs and festivals nationwide.
